Texas Forms Well Information Data Import Fields

*Operator – Limited to 32 characters.

*Operator Number – 6 digits.

*Address– Limited to 32 characters in the EDI file.

*City – Limited to 13 characters in the EDI file.

*State – Use 2 abbreviation.

*Zip

*Contact

*Phone – Use the format “512-329-0000”

*District – Must be 2 characters.  Acceptable values are: 01,02,03,04,05,06,6E,7B,7C,08,8A,09,10

County

*Field Name – Limited to 32 characters in the EDI file.

*Field Number – 8 digits.

*Lease Name– Limited to 32 characters in the EDI file.

*Well Number –Well numbers must exactly match the UIC database.  Be aware of the 6-digit well number format.  The first four characters are numeric and the last two characters are alpha.  ('NNNNAA')  You must enter blanks where there are no characters.  (e.g. well number 5W is entered '   5W '.  3 blanks in front of the '5' and one blank after the 'W').  If the well numbers do not match exactly, the EDI record will be rejected.

API Number

*Oil ID Number – 5 digits (Oil lease number).

*Gas ID Number – 6 digits.

EDI Filing– Must be “X” if you want to file electronically else leave blank.

EDI Months – Enter the name of the filing month(s) for the well.  If there is more than one month separate them by commas.

*Denotes data that is required for EDI filing.
